Leaf Switch: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026.
Leaf Switch ("the app") is published by Abhidini Labs (16525334 Canada Inc.). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
What we collect
The app has no accounts of its own and does not ask for your name, email, birth date, location, contacts or photos. Your progress, scores, dewdrops and settings are stored only on your device.
On first launch the app asks one question: is the player under 13, or 13 or older? The answer is stored on the device and decides how ads and leaderboards work (see "Children" below). Our analytics receive only that age group.
The app uses these Google services, which collect data as described:
| Service | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing ads (optional rewarded videos and occasional full-screen ads between rounds) | Advertising ID (players 13 or older only), device and app information, approximate location from IP, ad interactions |
| Google Play Games Services | Leaderboards (players 13 or older who choose to sign in) | Your Play Games profile name and ID, and the scores you post |
| Firebase Analytics | Understanding how the game is played so we can improve it | App interactions (rounds played, scores, settings), age group, device and app information, app-instance ID. It never collects the advertising ID. You can turn it off in Settings. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Finding and fixing crashes | Crash logs, device state, app-instance ID |
| Firebase Remote Config | Adjusting game settings (like how often ads appear) without an update | App-instance ID, device and app information |
Google's policies apply to this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
There are no in-app purchases.
Your choices
- Usage statistics: turn off "Share usage stats" in Settings to stop Firebase Analytics.
- Ad personalization and consent: where the law requires it (e.g. the EEA, the UK and some US states), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy choices.
- Leaderboards: signing in to Google Play Games is optional. You can manage your Play Games profile and its visibility in the Play Games app.
- Advertising ID: you can reset it or opt out of personalized ads in your device's settings.
- Deleting your data: uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on your device. To ask for deletion of analytics data linked to your app-instance ID, contact us at abhidinilabs@16525334.xyz.
Children
Leaf Switch is made for players of all ages, including children. For a player who says they are under 13:
- Ads are child-directed (under the US COPPA rule and Google Play's Families policy): no personalized or interest-based ads, no remarketing, only ads rated for general audiences, and the advertising ID is not used for ads. Ads come only from Google AdMob, which is certified for Google Play's Families program.
- No full-screen ads interrupt them. The only ads are short videos the player chooses to watch (for an extra life or more dewdrops).
- No sign-in and no leaderboards. Google Play Games is never started for them; they see their own best scores only.
- A grown-up must answer a question before any link that leaves the app.
- The app never asks them to rate it.
- We collect only what is needed to run and improve the app (an app-instance ID with gameplay events, and crash reports), never their name, contact details or location.
Before the age question is answered, no ads are loaded, Google Play Games is not started, and no advertising ID is collected. Parents can ask what data we hold about their child, or ask for it to be deleted, at abhidinilabs@16525334.xyz.
